A mother to 5 children, ranging from 42 to 24, with 6 grandchildren so far, and that's just the biological children...
Retired from my day job (teaching).

Movies
I love foreign films, generally non-violent, no horror please. I appreciate comedies but not stupidity, romance if it's not too schmaltzy, and I love magic, esoterica, and most science fiction.
TV
I watch very LITTLE television although I do like documentaries. I also enjoy HOUSE, BONES, and some of the very old re-runs on occasion.
Books
I'm a voracious reader in pretty much all subjects except perhaps for technical stuff.
Likes
People who are ethical, friendly & loving, honest, sincere, tolerant, fair-minded.
Moonlight. Nature in all its awesome glory. Thunderstorms. Candlelight. Wood fire.
A good meal and wine with someone special.
Dislikes
Intolerance, bigotry. Cruelty. Liars & cheaters.
People who are snobs. Deliberate stupidity.
Hobbies
In no particular order:
REIKI, practice & teaching: not a hobby, more of a vocation!
Reading, writing, research, teaching & learning.
Herbal medicine, healing.
Traveling, multi-culturalism.
Languages - that's a passion! I speak several languages and understand/read more. I do translations - English/French.
Rituals, drumming, witching, divination, shamanism - again, not really hobbies, more like passionate interests.
Cuisine of the world: both eating and cooking!
